The Africa Cup of Nations (CAF, AFCON) is distributed differently than the European competitions. The Confederation of African Football grants each North African country a dual right — free-to-air state TV for that country’s national team matches, plus the regional pay package (beIN Sports) for everything else.
Coverage by country
- Egypt: Pharaohs matches on Egyptian Channel 1 and ON Sport, free-to-air. Rest of the tournament on beIN Sports.
- Morocco: Atlas Lions matches on SNRT (Al Aoula and Arryadia) free-to-air. Rest on beIN.
- Algeria: Les Fennecs matches on ENTV (Entreprise Nationale de Télévision) free-to-air.
- Tunisia: Eagles of Carthage matches on Watanya 1 free-to-air.
- Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait: no free-to-air option. beIN Sports carries all matches.
Editorial note — AFCON 2025 and AFCON 2027
AFCON 2025 was played in Morocco in early 2026 and was won by Nigeria. AFCON 2027 will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania in mid-2027. The current calendar window is filled with qualifying-round matches for the next edition.
